there was a tweetup on friday during the IFA in Berlin, which was hostet by Intel. it took place at St. Oberholz after the main exhibition show.

Velvet - a concept UI for MeeGo tablets

TAT and Windriver created a really breathtaking and very nice concept UI: Velvet. the UI is based on TAT cascades a UI framework for the production of advanced user interfaces.

MeeGo UI for Tablets show off in a Pre-Alpha version

There is a new video floating around about the upcoming MeeGo UI. meegodemo managed to share a demo of the Pre-Alpha version of the MeeGo UI for Tablets.

RIM is testing a BlackBerry OS tablet - Blackberry BlackPad

Wallstreeet Journal claimes to know that there will be a tablet device from RIM called: BlackPad

 
 
RIM is testing a new phone and a tablet. the devices will run the BlackBerry OS 6.0. the tablet could have a 4GB storage, 5 megapixel cam. there is nothing known yet about the screen or other facts.

 

Computex: Tablets parade on Moorestown with MeeGo OS

chippy from carrypad.com and the folks from engadet.com had their chance to see the very early stage, but quite fast tablet: Quanta Redvale tablet. tommorow chippy will show us some news about the Wistron W1. all these  tablets have two main things in common: Intel Moorestown platform and the new MeeGo OS.

the folks from engadget have their hands on the Joojoo Pad. i don't know if this is an april joke, but the pics are promising. if it's real, then i'd order one :-) take this ipad!
