Nokia released a new major firmware for Nokia C5-00 (RM 645).

current version now: V32.010

 

the new firmware should be available in a few days via NSU or OTA.  

Nokia announced a new Symbian 3rd Edition phone from the X-Series:

at the first look, it has a strange form factor, but you can say that this device is a slider phone.

according to Norman John and Nokia Conversations more phones will get the FREE Navigation in OVI Maps 3.03.

After the the flagships N97, N97mini, N86, X6, 5800 and E72 the probably most selling E-Series devices: E71 and E66 gets the FREE navigation, too.

Near here is a location based App from Staron for Symbian phones, which makes it easy to find places near you even without a GPS lock. It uses the favorites from your navigation software like OVI Maps or Google Maps.

There is a new update for an App from sbsh, who released the FExplorer Pro for Symbian phones before. But this time they seem to understand, that you have to develop software for multiple mobile platforms. this, so called "cross-platform" App is: SafeWallet Pro version 1.2.1.
